\u2022 Louisiana-Pacific Corp. (21) <\/strong>CFO Sallie Bailey is retiring. Mike Kinney, Director of Investor Relations and Treasurer, will serve as interim CFO.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Lowe\u2019s<\/strong> (102)<\/strong> announced that Marvin Ellison will succeed the retiring Robert Niblock as CEO.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Home Depot <\/strong>will drop $1.2 billion over the next 5 years to realign its supply chain, which includes adding 170 distribution facilities and direct fulfillment centers.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Home Depot <\/strong>has installed the largest, single solar rooftop array in Washington, DC at one of its area stores.<\/p>\n

\u2022 House-Hasson Hardware<\/strong> is expanding its 50,000 sq. ft. Prichard, WV warehouse 300,000 sq. ft.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Lowe\u2019s<\/strong> rolled out its initial Craftsman SKUs.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Lumber Liquidators<\/strong> opened its 400th<\/sup> store.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Menard Inc. <\/strong>is in the midst of expanding all 300 of its stores. The company has approximately 200 completed and looks to wrap up the process early next year.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Somerville Lumber <\/strong>(Bridgewater, NJ) has rebranded as Somerville Home Center. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 TreeHouse, <\/strong>the alternative, green products retailer will close its Austin flagship store in the coming months and move its corporate HQ to its Dallas location, which remains open along with the Plano store.<\/p>\n

Mergers and Acquisitions<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u2022 Boise Cascade <\/strong>acquired Norman Distribution (Meford, OR).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mead Lumber Co. <\/strong>is acquiring H.L. Munn Lumber in Ames, IA. That\u2019s the 3rd<\/sup> acquisition of the year for Mead.<\/p>\n

\u2022 T.H. Rogers Lumber Co. <\/strong>(Edmond, OK) is acquiring Gordon White Lumber and its 6 locations. The Gordon White stores will eventually adopt the T.H. Rogers banner.<\/p>\n

\u2022 US LBM <\/strong>is acquiring R&K Building Supplies (AZ).<\/p>\n

\u2022 U.S. Lumber Group <\/strong>acquired Midwest Lumber, which counts Iowa, North Dakota and Wisconsin and parts of Illinois, Nebraska and South Dakota as its territory.<\/p>\n

Real Estate<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u2022 ABC Supply <\/strong>opened new locations in San Diego, Seattle and Mankato, MN.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Busy Beaver <\/strong>opened the second of five locations on tap for 2018. This one is in Greenville, PA.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Drexel Building Supply <\/strong>is building a new location, its 8th<\/sup>, in Columbus, WI.<\/p>\n

\u2022 McCoy\u2019s Building Supply<\/strong> will open a new store in Midlothian, TX before the end of the year.<\/p>\n

\u2022 PPG <\/strong>is building its largest distribution facility to date, a 450,000 sq. ft. facility in Flower Mound, TX, which is expected to come online next year.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Westlake Ace Hardware <\/strong>will open a new store in Cary, NC this fall. The location will feature a \u201cstore-within-a-store\u201d pet supply department.<\/p>\n
