And with deep roots in Austin that date back to its first store in 1971, the company is making plans to turn up the volume on its Austin-ness. In the next 18 months, the company will reimagine its entire 350-store portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>The concept gets a new moniker \u2013 Schlotzsky&#8217;s Austin Eatery. New signage, better food, and beer and wine are part of the makeover that aims to squarely position the concept as a hip, fast-casual destination.<\/p>\n<p>Interiors will get a complete revamp \u2013 think mismatched Texas yard-sale chic for the fixtures, seating and service ware.
