The company\u2019s most recent earnings results bettered, by far, analysts\u2019 expectations and included year-over-year total revenue up 14% with comparable store sales up 9%. Of particular note were comps at aerie stores: +27%.<\/p>\n<p>When a banner posts those kinds of comps, it\u2019s not a huge logical leap to build more. And that\u2019s what AEO has planned. The company will build 50 to 80 new aerie stores in the next year, and executives noted that a number will be in new markets.
