Over the past few months, the company has brought in three executives and readied a new 30,000-sq-ft distribution center.<\/p>\n<p>Friedman\u2019s looked outside the industry to bring in Charley Johnson to fill the newly created role of VP Pro and Design Services. Johnson joins the company from Best Buy. Richard Morano fills another newly created position, that of VP of IT and comes from <strong>Orchard Supply. <\/strong>Finally, Joe Covert joined the Friedman\u2019s team as VP of Merchandising from retailer Restoration Hardware.<\/p>\n<p>December also marks Friedman\u2019s opening of a distribution facility in Windsor, CA to serve the pros with job-site direct delivery.
