The company has retained an executive search to identify a replacement for Maredia, and in the meantime, company CFO Brad Lukow and President and COO Jim Nielsen will lead Sprouts as co-CEOs on an interim basis.<\/p>\n<p>Maredia became CEO in August 2015 and oversaw continued expansion of the company, which grew by approximately 100 units during his tenure and passed the 300-store mark earlier this year. Sprouts currently operates 315 stores in 19 states.
