\u2022<\/span>\u00a0Amazon.com Inc.<\/strong> opened its first new Amazon Fresh grocery store concept in Woodland Hills, CA. The 35,000 square foot store will open to the general public in several weeks.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span>\u00a0Global Partners LP<\/strong> recently opened its fifth Alltown Fresh Market location in Schenectady, NY.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span>\u00a0Kings Food Markets Inc.<\/strong> has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span>\u00a0Lidl US<\/strong> plans to open 50 new stores by the end of 2021. The stores will be located in DE, GA, MD, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, and VA.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span>\u00a0Pemm LLC<\/strong> has acquired a Mobil gas station in Brighton, NY, and will convert it to a Quicklee\u2019s Travel Center.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company LLC<\/strong> is offering flu shots at its more than 250 pharmacy locations across the Northeast.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span>\u00a0Amazon.com Inc.<\/strong> announced Jeff Wilke, CEO of Worldwide Consumer Business, plans to retire from his position in the first quarter of 2021. Dave Clark, who currently serves as Senior VP of Worldwide Operations, will succeed Wilke in his role.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span>\u00a0The Bartell Drug Company<\/strong> announced that flu vaccinations are now available at its pharmacies.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span>\u00a0Bed Bath & Beyond Inc.<\/strong> said that it\u2019s cutting 2,800 jobs at its corporate headquarters and stores, which is about 5% of its overall workforce.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span>\u00a0Builders FirstSource Inc.<\/strong> and BMC Stock Holdings Inc.<\/strong> announced that they have entered into a merger agreement. The deal is expected to close in late 2020 or early 2021.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> Pizza Hut<\/strong> CFO has resigned from the company and he has been replaced by Charlie Short on an interim basis.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc. <\/strong>announced that CIO Dean Cookson will leave the company on Aug. 28. No replacement has been announced.<\/p>\n
