\u2022\u00a0The Giant Company<\/strong> is planning four new stores in Philadelphia, including a 32,000 sq. ft. store in the Fashion District, a 46,000 sq. ft. store on Columbus Boulevard, a 50,000 sq. ft. store on North Broad Street, and a 40,000 sq. ft. location on South Broad Street.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Sobeys Inc.<\/strong> is soon opening its third FreshCo location in Alberta, Canada.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Amazon.com Inc.<\/strong> is opening its first robotics fulfillment center in the state of Louisiana. The 650,000 sq. ft. facility will be in Shreveport.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0At Home Group Inc.<\/strong> has agreed to be acquired by private-equity firm, and is going private. The retailer plans to open 12 to 15 stores across the country this year.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Beacon Roofing Supply Inc.<\/strong> has appointed Jonathan Bennett as Exec VP and Chief Commercial Officer.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Builders FirstSource Inc.<\/strong> announced that it has acquired John\u2019s Lumber Co. Inc.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Canada Goose Inc.<\/strong> announced it will open its first store in California with a new location in Costa Mesa.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Eddie Bauer Inc.<\/strong> announced it will be acquired by Authentic Brands Group.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Genesco Inc.<\/strong> has named Parag Desai its Senior VP, Chief Strategy and Digital Officer.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0L Brands, Inc.<\/strong> announced that it plans to separate the company into two independent, public companies: Bath & Body Works and Victoria\u2019s Secret. The transaction is expected to be completed in August 2021.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Macy\u2019s Inc.<\/strong> has committed to $235 million to improve the surrounding area of its flagship Herald Square store in New York City.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Ollie\u2019s Bargain Outlet<\/strong> has opened its 400th store, in Springfield, VT. The new location is the first Ollie’s in the state of Vermont, officially expanding the company’s footprint into 26 states. The retailer is on track to open 50 stores this year. Ollie\u2019s also recently appointed Eric van der Valk as Exec VP and<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Pacific Sunwear of California Inc.<\/strong> named Alfred Chang and Michael Relich as Co-CEO\u2019s. The retailer also announced Brieane Olson is being promoted to President.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Primark USA<\/strong> will open two new store locations in Tysons, VA, and Valley Stream, NY.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc.<\/strong> has appointed Ellery Fisher as Group VP of E-Commerce and Digital.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Sundance Holdings Group, LLC<\/strong> has opened a 3,920 sq. ft. store in downtown Westport, CT. It is Sundance\u2019s first location in the Northeast and one of three overall the company will open this year.<\/p>\n
