The deal has already been approved by each companies\u2019 board of directors and they are awaiting regulatory approval. Both companies have plans to divest some of their stores before the deal is completed.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Wawa Inc<\/strong>. reported it plans to expand into Georgia. The first store is expected to open in 2024, with the potential for up to 20 stores in southern and coastal Georgia in the future.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Amazon.com Inc<\/strong>. reported it is planning to hire 150,000 employees throughout the U.S. for the holiday season.<\/p>\n
