\u2022\u00a0Nordstrom Inc<\/strong>. announced it will open a new 24,000 sq. ft. Nordstrom Rack in Long Island, NY, in spring 2024. The retailer also plans to open a 30,000 sq. ft. Nordstrom Rack in Mason, OH, a 25,000 sq. ft. Nordstrom Rack in San Antonio, TX, and a 26,000 sq. ft. Nordstrom Rack in San Diego, CA, in fall 2024.<\/p>\n

Restaurant<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0<\/strong>A California bill that would have allowed cannabis dispensaries to act as restaurants has been vetoed by Gov. Gavin Newsom due to employees being exposed to secondhand smoke.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0BurgerFi<\/strong> will be opening their Better Burger Lab in New York City that will offer their traditional menu along with draft beer and limited-edition offerings that can\u2019t be found elsewhere. The location is set to open in late December.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Burger King<\/strong> has opened their first \u201cSizzle\u201d restaurant prototype that features kiosks and dedicated areas and drive-thru lanes for mobile orders. It requires less space and dine-in seating can vary per restaurant. The company hopes to open 14 additional prototypes by the end of the year.<\/p>\n
