Fashion Star<\/a><\/em> is a reality television series, which focuses on fashion design. The contestants compete, designing new products in hopes of being purchased by selected buyers. The designers have a chance to win a multi-million dollar prize to launch their collections in three of America’s largest retailers: Macy’s, H&M and Saks Fifth Avenue. An apparel buyer for each company has the chance to bid on the designer\u2019s line, and if no buyer makes a bid, the contestant is up for elimination. In the end, the designer who is America\u2019s Fashion Star can create fashions for all three major retailers.
