The company increased their net earning 49% from $2.9 billion to $4.3 billion and their total sales reached $57.1 billion; a 24% <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chainstoreguide.com\/offthechain\/..\/c-134-grocery-market-share.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">market share<\/a> for the areas in which they operate. Publix\u2019s supermarket of the year award is just one of many accolades the company has received. They have been named one of <em>Fortune\u2019s<\/em> 100 Best Companies to Work For and Best Workplaces in Retail for four straight years. They also landed on<em> Forbes\u2019<\/em> Best Employers for Veterans and Best Employers for Diversity. They have also held the No.1 spot on <em>Newsweek magazine\u2019s <\/em>America\u2019s Best Customer Service in Supermarkets list for five straight years.
