The company laid off 600 workers from its corporate headquarters, which equaled 13% to 14% of the headquarters staff and did not include any senior executives. Remodeling of the site is expected to begin in April 2012 and be completed by the end of October 2012, at which time the company will open a new Herberger\u2019s store.
