\u2022 <\/span>Festival Foods<\/strong> announced that it has named Brian W. Bauman General Counsel.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Publix<\/strong> announced that President and Chairman of its Publix Charities foundation Carol Jenkins Barnett is stepping down from the Publix board of directors effective immediately due to health reasons.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Brookshire Grocery Co.<\/strong> announced that it has agreed to acquire 25 former Walmart Express stores and convert them to a new banner.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>CST Brands Inc.<\/strong> closed on its previously announced sale of 79 convenience stores in the California and Wyoming markets, purchased by a subsidiary of 7-Eleven Inc. CST will no longer operate stores in these two states; 76 of the c-stores are located in California with the remaining three in Wyoming.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Fiesta Mart<\/strong> announced plans to buy all 11 Minyard Food Stores from RLS Supermarkets. The stores are all located in the Dallas area.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Publix<\/strong> is among the buyers of some 86 locations that will be divested upon completion of the Ahold\/Delhaize merger.<\/p>\n
