September 2011: Marsh Supermarkets plans to spend $60 million over the next three years to build up to 10 new stores and remodel others, according to its new CEO Joseph Kelley.\u00a0 Its smaller MainStream Market concept has grown to 27 stores, and is also under new management.<\/p>\n

The company expects the new stores to measure 40,000 to 60,000 square feet and emphasize fresh produce and service-oriented departments like bakeries, delis and butchers.
