Advance Auto Parts Inc<\/strong>., announced that VP Real Estate, Randall A. Young\u00a0has left the company to join The Fresh Market Inc.<\/p>\n

Bed Bath & Beyond <\/strong>announced that Jeffrey W. Macak, until recently, the Vice President-Global Supply Chain, has left the company to join Family Dollar Stores.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Family Dollar Stores<\/strong> announced that it has hired Jeffrey W. Macak – until recently, the Vice President-Global Supply Chain for Bed Bath & Beyond<\/strong> – to be its new Executive Vice President\u2013Supply Chain.<\/p>\n

Follett Corporation<\/strong> has named former Dick\u2019s Sporting Goods<\/strong> executive Don Germano as President and COO of the Follett Higher Education Group. He replaces Tom Christopher, who announced plans to retire.<\/p>\n

Jo-Ann Stores<\/strong> has appointed Tom Williams to Senior VP of Store Operations and Human Resources, replacing Ken Haverkost. \u00a0Haverkost announced his retirement as EVP of store operations, a position he held since joining the company in 2007. He will remain a part-time employee through March 2014 to assist in the transition process.<\/p>\n

Pep Boys<\/strong> announced the appointment of Jim Flanagan as Chief Human Resources Officer.<\/p>\n

QVC<\/strong> has promoted Alex Miller to the position of Senior VP of digital commerce and Dave Caputo to the position of Senior VP of TV Production and Operations.\u00a0 Miller will now be responsible for the customer experience across QVC’s web, mobile, tablet and social platforms.<\/p>\n

Tuesday Morning<\/strong> has named Michael Rouleau as the company\u2019s CEO. Rouleau, who was appointed interim chief executive in March 2013, will also continue to serve on the company’s board of directors, which he joined November 2012.<\/p>\n

AutoZone, Inc<\/strong>. reported that net sales for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2013 were $9.1 billion, an increase of 6.3% from the prior year.<\/p>\n

Tuesday Morning Corporation <\/strong>announced financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended June 30, 2013.\u00a0 Annual net sales increased to $838.4 million from $812.8 million.<\/p>\n

Conn\u2019s Inc<\/strong>. has opened new Conn\u2019s HomePlus stores in Tempe, Ariz., and Houston, Texas.<\/p>\n

OfficeMax<\/strong> opened the first OfficeMax Business Solutions Center <\/strong>in Chicago.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tuesday Morning<\/strong>, one of the many retailers that lost a Tuscaloosa location during the April 2011 tornado, has reopened in the area.<\/p>\n

Walmart Canada<\/strong> grand-opened a 129,000-sq.-ft. superstore in Saint John, New Brunswick,<\/strong> on Friday, the first of nine \u201cMaritime Supercenters\u201d planned for the country by Jan. 31, 2014, said the retailer.<\/p>\n
