North America\u2019s largest specialty retailer of hardwood flooring has had a tough time given FY2015 results (FYE 12\/31\/15). The task that lies ahead for Lumber Liquidators is convincing consumers that they have taken steps to rectify sourcing problems brought to light in a 2015 60 Minutes report. In that report, the show claimed that Lumber Liquidators Chinese-made laminate flooring failed to meet California formaldehyde emissions standards. In March of this year, the company agreed to pay $2.5 million to the California Air Resources Board to resolve an inquiry on the matter without admitting any wrongdoing. In April, it gained a victory in a civil case claiming the company violated California state law. Coming off a fourth quarter during which sales were down 13.7% from the previous year, the work of restoring consumer confidence continues.<\/p>\n
