The closing of a handful of underperforming stores in the first quarter of the year continues the gradual consolidation we\u2019ve seen over the last decade reducing store count from a peak of 255 units after the acquisition of 132 Albertsons stores. The company also closed one of its three warehouses in recent weeks in favor of a Super Store Industries storage unit, co-owned with Raley\u2019s Supermarkets, a move that should produce cost savings and greater efficiencies.
