\u2022 <\/span>Albertsons<\/strong> announced that Dan Valenzuela, previously head of the company\u2019s Seattle division, has been named President of its Safeway Eastern Division, effective immediately succeeding Steve Burnham.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Murphy USA Inc<\/strong>. hired Rob Chumley as Senior VP of Marketing.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>SpartanNash<\/strong> named Tammy Hurley VP of Finance as its new Chief Accounting Officer. Also, Dave Staples has been appointed President of the company. Staples will continue his role as COO\u00a0and continue to report directly to CEO and chairman Dennis Eidson, who previously also held the role of president.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Weis Markets<\/strong> promoted Jeanette Rogers to VP and Corporate Controller.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Cash & Carry<\/strong> has partnered with Instacart <\/strong>with hopes of one-hour delivery for food orders.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Farm Stores<\/strong>, a drive-through convenience store chain with 70 locations in Florida, plans to open 100 locations in New Jersey over the next ten years, beginning with locations in Union and Somerset counties.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Kroger<\/strong>\u2019s<\/strong> three Baker’s stores in Omaha, NE will offer online grocery ordering via Kroger’s ClickList, which allows shoppers to place orders online and pick them up in a designated lane outside the store.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Market District Express,<\/strong> a smaller version of Giant Eagle’s Market District banner, has opened in Bexley, Ohio.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Fiesta Mart<\/strong> reopened a renovated Houston-area store, an event company officials signaled as the beginning of a long-term repositioning.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Publix<\/strong> will open a new store in Wake Forest, NC.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Tops Friendly Markets<\/strong> is opening six stores that it recently acquired from Stop & Shop and Hannaford Supermarket<\/p>\n
