\u2022 <\/span>ARC Group Inc<\/strong>. purchased two of its Florida Dick\u2019s Wings<\/strong> locations from a franchisee, marking the first time that the ARC Group has operated company-owned restaurants.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Carrols Restaurant Group<\/strong>is on the verge of another acquisition. The 753-unit Burger King<\/strong> franchisee has agreed to purchase 43 Cincinnati-area restaurants in a deal that should close in January or early February.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp<\/strong>. was acquired by Cerberus Capital Management LP, a deal that will allow the company to emerge from bankruptcy. Cerberus anticipates that Garden Fresh will move forward with \u201c90 to 104\u201d Souplantation<\/strong> and Sweet Tomatoes <\/strong>locations. The company currently operates 105 stores.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>GPS Hospitality<\/strong> purchased 194 Burger King<\/strong> locations from Strategic Restaurants Acquisitions Corp. <\/strong>almost doubling its BK store count and establishing a presence in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi for the first time.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Pizza Patron<\/strong> Inc<\/strong>. was acquired by Charles M. Loflin, owner of San Antonio Restaurant Group<\/strong>, a 22-unit Pizza Patron franchisee and the largest Wingstop<\/strong> franchisee. The headquarters will move from Dallas to San Antonio.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Rita’s Franchise Co<\/strong>., the organization behind Rita\u2019s Italian Ice, <\/strong>was acquired by Argosy Private Equity and MTN Capital.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Sonny’s Franchise Company <\/strong>sold nine of its ten company-owned Sonny\u2019s BBQ<\/strong> stores to COO Brandon Manly and Heritage Management. Manly will leave the company to run the nine stores.<\/p>\n
