Pittsburgh-based regional stalwart Giant Eagle<\/strong> hasn\u2019t grown its net store count much in recent years, but it has expanded its reach (under multiple banners) as far west as Indianapolis. Like the national chains, Giant Eagle is experimenting with curbside pickup and home delivery linked to online ordering. A total of 27 stores in Indianapolis, Columbus, Cleveland, Akron and Pittsburg are currently part of Giant Eagle’s Curbside Express Pick Up program. And in the coming weeks, the company will roll out a pilot delivery program within five zip codes in the Squirrel Hill (Pittsburg) area.<\/p>\n
