Nearly doubling its footprint in 2016 with 20 new stores, the nationwide franchise-based growth plan at Teriyaki Madness<\/strong> is beginning to take shape. A few years back, CEO Michael Haith relinquished his stake in the Maui Wowi<\/strong> concept (now with MTY Food Group<\/strong>), bought out the Teriyaki Madness founders and turned the focus of \u201cTMad\u201d to franchising. This QSR \u201cSeattle-style teriyaki\u201d concept with a build-a-bowl approach looks to open approximately 25 units in 2017 and recently signed its largest franchise deal to date \u2013 a 20-unit agreement for the greater Phoenix market.<\/p>\n
