Edit and Retire Personnel

Chain Store Guide prides itself on always providing accurate data. We offer the ability to edit, retire or add key personnel to our database via the Company Profile page which will then be verified by CSG’s research team* Log into your account on your desktop, smart phone or tablet to access your database and get started.

How to Edit & Retire Personnel

From a Company Profile, you can find the options to “Edit” and “Retire” next to each personnel at the bottom of the page.

When you click “Edit” you’re redirected to a page where you can update the name, title, email and phone number, then click “Submit Changes”. In addition there is a “Retire” option for people who are no longer with the company. Once clicked you’ll be asked if you’re sure you want to retire that person, then click “OK”. You can also add new contacts using the button at the top of the page.

Similar to CSG Verify it will take 3 to 5 business days for our research team to verify the edits before they’re posted to our database.PLUS and Premier subscribers can be instantly informed of any changes within a particular company by signing up for “Rapid Alerts”.

It’s important to have your data regularly cleansed as customer/prospect information will change 25-35% per year. We suggest refreshing your CRM or customer database at least once every 4 weeks; updating information, removing old contacts, and adding new leads.
