• 7-Eleven Inc. is partnering with alcohol delivery service Minibar Delivery. Starting in Florida, Texas and Virginia, about 600 convenience stores are participating in the pilot launch.

• Albertsons LLC has begun piloting an Instacart-powered online grocery pickup service in Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Austin, TX; Las Vegas, NV; Phoenix, AZ; and Denver, CO.

 

Retail

• CVS Health will require all clinical and corporate employees to be fully vaccinated by Oct 31.

 

Restaurant

• 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen has partnered with Piestro robotics to develop 3,600 automated pizza makers over the next five years.

• Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar will be re-opening their Attleboro, MA location after it was previously closed due to COVID-19.

• Greens Restaurant Group LLC has acquired Spyce a robotics powered bowl delivery company. The company will implement the new technology in their restaurants.

• Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will be offering two free doughnuts next week to all guests that have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine shot. The company began offering free doughnuts to vaccinated customers earlier this year.
