• Big Y Foods Inc. recently opened a new supermarket in Uxbridge, MA. Michael Gold, the company’s Senior VP and Chief Legal Officer, has retired. He will be succeeded by Richard Stamm, who has been named as General Counsel.
• Brookshire Grocery Co. has acquired both Uptown Grocery locations in Oklahoma. These stores will become FRESH by Reasor’s stores.
• Publix Super Markets Inc. reported it will open a new 50,000 sq. ft. grocery store in Manassas, VA.
• Wakefern Food Corp. announced the appointment of Travis Riepenhoff as its new Group VP of Fresh. He succeeds Mark Van Buskirk who has been appointed Group VP Center Store.

• 7 Brew Drive-Thru Coffee recently opened its 500th location.
• Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc. opened 28 new ghost kitchens across the United States last month.
• Jack in the Box Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to sell Del Taco Restaurants Inc. to Yadav Enterprises, Inc. The deal is expected to close by January.
• Snooze Eatery has appointed Josh Kern as its new CEO. He succeeds David Birzon.
• Taco Cabana Inc. has recently closed five restaurants in Texas.
• Toppers Pizza Inc. announced the appointment of Ian Bruggeman as its new CFO.
