Free Trial7-Eleven Inc. reported that Joe DePinto, its CEO, has retired. Stanley Reynolds and Douglas Rosencrans will serve as Interim co-CEOs.

• BP Products North America Inc. has appointed Meg O’Neill as the company’s next CEO, effective April 1, 2026. She will replace Murray Auchincloss. Carol Howle will serve as interim CEO.

• Whole Foods Market Inc. recently opened a new Whole Foods Market Daily Shop in Hoboken, NJ.

 

Restaurant

• Doherty Enterprises Inc. plans to open 27 new Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurants in New Jersey and New York over the next several years. The company plans to remodel 15 of its Applebee’s locations in 2026.

• Papa Johns’ International, Inc. announced that its Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Madeline Chadwick, has left the company.

• Starbucks Corporation announced the appointment of Anand Varadarajan as its new Exec VP and CTO.

• Sweetgreen, Inc. announced the retirement of Nathaniel Ru, its Chief Brand Officer and Co- Founder. Zipporah Allen has taken on the additional role of Chief Brand Officer.

• Twin Hospitality Group Inc. announced it will open its first location in Connecticut.

 

Retail

• Barnes & Noble announced that it plans to open 60 new locations in 2026.

• Birkenstock recently opened its 15th store in the U.S. with a new location in Chestnut Hill, MA.

• The Clarks Companies of North America Inc. recently opened its first Cloudsteppers store, in Corpus Christi, TX. Additional Cloudsteppers locations will open in Florida and North Carolina in the first half of 2026.

• Hancock Lumber Co. Inc. has named Curtis Pratt as the new Safety Director.

• Mango Inc. recently opened its 60th U.S. location. The 11,000 sq. ft. store is the retailers’ first in Illinois.

• Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. plans to add 20 to 35 new stores over the next three years.

• Paul Stuart Inc. has appointed John Hutchison as its new CEO.

• PGA TOUR Superstore, Inc. recently named Rebecca Charles as the company’s new Chief Customer Officer.
