• Compass Coffee has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

• Dave’s Hot Chicken has promoted Jim Bitticks to CEO of the company. He succeeds Bill Phelps, who will remain as Executive Chairman.

• Dutch Bros. Coffee reported it has named Jennifer Somers as its new Chief Shops Officer.

• Salt & Straw recently opened two new shops in Las Vegas, NV.

• Sprinkles Cupcakes CA Inc. has closed all its company-owned locations.

• Twin Hospitality Group Inc. announced its CEO and President, Kim Boerema, is no longer with the company. Andy Wiederhorn has been appointed as CEO.

• Kendra Scott LLC has named Chris Blakeslee as its new CEO.

• Saks Incorporated has named its Executive Chairman, Richard Baker, as CEO. He replaces Marc Metrick.

• SPAR Group Inc. has promoted Jean Richer to Director of North American Sales and Marketing.

• Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. announced that Tracey Brown has left the company.
