• Holiday Oil Co. has recently promoted James Peterson to President of the company. Scott Wagstaff has been appointed as Vice Chairman. Ross Davidson was named as General Counsel. The company appointed Chris Buhl as Chief Human Resources Officer. Jacob Kimmel was named Chief of Staff. Heather Salas was appointed Director of Marketing.

• McCaffrey’s Markets has revealed plans to open a new 51,000 sq. ft. McCaffrey’s Market in Doylestown, PA, early next year. The new store will replace its store in Doylestown Borough, PA.

• Skogen’s Festival Foods announced that Randy Munns, Exec VP and COO, will retire this month. The company has promoted Adam Whitney to Chief Merchant.

• Sprouts Farmers Markets Inc. recently opened its first location in the state of New York, with a grocery store in Long Island.

• Whole Foods Market Inc. plans to open more than 100 new stores during the next few years. The company also is expanding the brand’s smaller store concept, Whole Foods Daily Shop, with plans to open five new stores by the end of the year.

• Cameron Mitchell Restaurants LLC plans to open a new Ocean Prime location in Nashville, TN.

• Darden Restaurants Inc. reported it will close its remaining Bahama Breeze locations in early April.

• Krystal Restaurants LLC will open its first-ever restaurant in New Jersey in early March. The new location will be in Union, NJ.

• Starbucks Corporation reportedly plans to open approximately 600 to 650 new locations this year, including 150 to 175 company-operated stores in the United States, and 450 to 500 international locations.

• Taco Bell Corp. announced it has promoted Michelle Beasley to the role of COO.

Retail

• Claire’s Holdings LLC has named Michelle Goad as its new Chief Brand Officer.

• Eddie Bauer Inc. is reportedly planning to close all its store locations.

• Genesco Inc. announced its CFO, Cassandra Harris, is stepping down from her role and leaving the company. Mimi Vaughn will assume the role of Interim CFO until a replacement is found.

• Nordstrom Inc. reported that Jason Bell was promoted to Exec VP, Chief Supply Chain Officer.

• R.P. Lumber Co. Inc. will acquire Bender Lumber Co. Inc., with locations in south Indiana.

• Target Corporation reported it will open seven new locations next month in Bakersfield, CA; Delano, CA; Springfield, MO; Jersey City, NJ; West Orange, NJ; Fuquay Varina, NC; and Oak Cliff, TX. All new stores will offer drive up curbside pickup, in-store pickup and same-day delivery options.
