• Buc-ee’s Ltd. will open its first store in Ohio in April. The 74,000 sq. ft. travel center will be in Huber Heights, OH.

• Trader Joe’s Co. plans to open new locations in Tucson, AZ; West Palm Beach, FL; Johns Creek, GA; Merriam, KS; Mandeville, LA; New Orleans, LA; and Woodinville, WA.

• The Common Man Family of Restaurants recently promoted Sean Brown to CEO of the company.

• Dutch Bros. Coffee reported that it plans to open at least 180 new locations in 2026.

• The Wendy’s Company reportedly expects to close 300 to 350 restaurants in the first half of 2026.

• Wonder Group, Inc. announced it has opened its first location in Massachusetts. New locations recently opened in Belmont, MA; Framingham, MA; and Natick, MA.

Retail

• Arhaus LLC has named Michael Rengel as Chief Merchandising Officer.

• Aritzia Inc. reported it is planning to open a new 40,000 sq. ft. store in Vancouver, BC, in 2027.

• Army & Air Force Exchange Service announced that Brad Bingham, currently Deputy Director and CFO, will take over as CEO in July. Tom Shull, Director and CEO, will retire at that time.

• Boise Cascade Company has recently promoted Angella Broesch to Senior VP of Human Resources. Chris Forrey was promoted to Senior VP of Finance and Investor Relations.

• IKEA North America will open 10 new locations in 2026, in Huntsville, AL; Phoenix, AZ; Culver City, CA; Fort Collins, CO; Gurnee, IL; Tulsa, OK; Dallas, TX; Webster, TX; and Chantilly, VA.

• National Association of Chain Drug Stores announced that Steve Anderson, President and CEO, will retire effective December 31, 2026.

• United Hardware Distributing Co. announced the retirement of its President and CEO, Chad Ruth.
