• Couche-Tard Inc. plans to open 100 new Circle K stores this fiscal year. The company is on track to open least 750 new stores by 2030.
• Harps Food Stores Inc. plans to acquire 18 supermarkets in Kentucky and Tennessee, from Dyer Foods Inc.

• Chicken Salad Chick announced the appointment of Jill Thomas as Chief Marketing Officer.
• Neighborhood Restaurant Partners has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The 50 Applebee’s restaurants in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, are expected to be acquired by Dine Brands Global, Inc.
• Fat Brands, Inc. reported its CEO, Andy Wiederhorn, has agreed to temporarily step down. Mason Wiederhorn, Taylor Wiederhorn, and Thayer Wiederhorn are no longer with the company.
• MCL Restaurants and Bakery is reportedly closing four locations this month.
• Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Inc. announced Chris Padoan has been appointed as COO of U.S. and Canada.
• Raising Cane’s LLC will soon celebrate the opening of its 1000th restaurant.
• Savvy Sliders reported it plans to open approximately 35 new restaurants in 2026.

• Capri Holdings Limited has appointed Corey Moran as its new Chief Marketing Officer.
• Costco Wholesale Corp. will open its first standalone gas station in June. The 17,000 sq. ft. station is in Mission Viejo, CA. A second standalone Costco gas station is planned for Honolulu, HI, in 2027.
• CVS Health will open its first pharmacy-only location this week in Chicago, IL. The retailer plans to open 20 pharmacy-only locations the year.
• David’s Bridal has named Scott Saeger as its new Chief Technology Officer. Heather Braddock has been appointed as its new Chief Global Transformation and Operations Officer. The retailer also announced its CFO, Rob Cooper, has stepped down.
• Dollar General Corp. has appointed Jerry W. “JJ” Fleeman Jr. to succeed Todd Vasos as CEO, effective January 1, 2027.
• Foot Locker Inc. recently partnered with DoorDash to offer delivery of online orders to its customers.
