• CrossAmerica Partners LP reported Maura Topper was appointed President and CEO. She succeeds Charles Nifong, who is no longer in the role. Jonathan Benfield has been appointed as Interim CFO.

• Grocery Outlet Holding Corp. announced it plans to close 36 stores this year. The grocer also plans to open 30 to 33 new locations this year.

• The Kroger Co. said it has named Milen Mahadevan to the newly created role of Chief Data and AI Officer.

• Topco Associates LLC announced Michael D’Amour has been named as its new Chairman.

Restaurant

• Inspire Brands has promoted Darin Dugan to Brand President of Jimmy John’s Franchise LLC. He succeeds James North, who has been named the company’s Global Brand Ambassador. Kate Carpenter has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer.

• Marco’s Franchising LLC reported it is planning to open more than 80 new stores this year.

• Shipley Do-Nuts has named Matt Kafka as its new COO. Todd Brin has been promoted to Chief Development Officer. John Feray has been named as CFO of the company.

• Starbucks Corporation announced it will be opening another corporate office in Nashville, TN.

• Abercrombie & Fitch Co. plans to open 55 new stores and complete 70 remodels, in 2026.

• American Eagle Outfitters Inc. plans to open 35 to 40 new Aerie and Offline stores, and to remodel about 60 stores in 2026. It expects to close 25 to 30 underperforming American Eagle stores.

• BJ’s Wholesale Club Holdings Inc. plans to open its first location in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area next month.

• Costco Wholesale Corp. reported it plans to open 28 new locations in its current fiscal year.

• Hampton Lumber Sales Co. announced Randy Schillinger is no longer with the company. Steve Zika has been appointed as the company’s new CEO.

• Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Holdings recently opened its first store location in Minnesota.

• Recreational Equipment Inc. has appointed Kim Waldmann as its new Chief Commercial Officer.

• Ross Stores Inc. plans to open 110 new store locations in 2026, including 85 Ross stores and 25 DD’s Discounts. The retailer will open its first-ever locations in Puerto Rico.

• Target Corporation plans to open more than 30 new stores in 2026, including seven locations this month.

• William-Sonoma, Inc. recently opened its first GreenRow store, in New York City, NY.

• Windsor Fashions Inc. promoted Ike Zekaria to President of the company. The retailer announced it plans to open 15 new stores this year.
