After the completion of their merger, Sprouts Farmers Market and Sunflower Farmers Market created a 150 store company with approximately $2 billion in annual revenue. The new entity ranks in the top 40 in Chain Store Guide’s Supermarket, Grocery and Convenience Store Chains database.

Recently, Sprouts announced it is planning a 25,000-square-foot location in Katy, Texas. The store will be the first of five slated for the Houston area. The retailer also has plans to open several new stores in California and Colorado, in addition to its home state of Arizona.
