McDonald’s Tries to Take Back Breakfast with Big Debut

In the face of falling breakfast market share, McDonald’s is going big with its first new breakfast item in 5 years. The new Triple Breakfast Stacks recently “leaked” on social media (nudge, nudge, wink, wink), and the company has confirmed the monster sandwiches will debut on a menu board near you on November 1. Featuring two sausage patties, two slices of cheese, bacon and an egg, the positioning of the new Triple Breakfast Stack couldn’t be more different from that of the last new breakfast item to be served up at the Golden Arches, the Egg White Delight McMuffin.
