• Albertsons Cos. will consolidate 11 divisions into four regions and centralize center store merchandising. President and Chief Financial Officer Sharon McCollam will retire later this year after a successor is named.

• Giant Food has named Gregg Dorazio Vice President of Marketing. Dyani Hanrahan is departing at the end of the month.

• Schnuck Markets will permanently close its Bridgeton, Missouri, warehouse on March 28, 2027, as it transitions away from operating company-owned warehouse facilities.

• Beyond Juicery + Eatery will open a Brookhaven, Georgia, restaurant on July 25, its third location in Georgia.

• Birdcall plans to open nearly 100 locations across six states over the next five years.

• Bojangles opened 25 restaurants across 12 states in the first half of 2026 and is approaching its 900th location.

• Brasa Peruvian Kitchen will open its first airport location at Toronto Pearson International Airport in summer 2026.

• Cheba Hut will open its first Nebraska location in Lincoln on July 30.

• Chester’s Chicken has opened its 20th location with MFA Oil Company’s Break Time convenience store chain in Piedmont, Missouri.

• Cousins Subs opened its Green Bay West location and celebrated the grand opening with community partners.

• HTeaO will open a new store in El Campo, Texas, on August 1.

• Portillo’s has named Christopher Hansen Executive Chef and Senior Director of Culinary Innovation.

• Yum! Brands has appointed Nai De Leon Chief People & Culture Officer, effective November 1.

• Ziggi’s Coffee has named Stacey Pool Chief Growth Officer to lead expansion strategy.
